- Assessment
Hardware and software acquisition and maintenance, professional development, network upkeep and other services are assessed annually through district and community needs assessment surveys and with TAGLIT. The Technology Committee reviews the results of each assessment in detail and uses that information to form goals for the following school year. These assessments are listed under the ‘Immediate Goals’ section and are repeated below.
- Conduct a survey of teacher and administration requests for technology equipment, supplies and professional development that can be immediately introduced into current year curriculum using TAGLIT and other assessment tools.
- Determine needed services for maintenance of network, website, hardware and software and facility upkeep based on need’s assessments.
- Review community survey to find out what technology is available and/or being used by students in the home.
