1.  Multimedia Center in the Lunchroom
   
   a. New TV and DVD/VCR
   (1) Hang on wall (Dave will talk to Henry)
   b. May ask PTA to purchase
2.  Acquire 2 new scanners for Grades 4-6
   
   a. Christie will price check and perhaps get them donated.
3.  Acquire digital camera for student use
   
   a. Nikki will price check.
   b. Looking for a basic, starter camera.
4.  Acquire more computers running Win XP
   
   a. Get three to replace those running Win. 98 or Win 2000.
   (1) Discard older computers - see if we can donate to
   families from the schools that don’t have computers.
5.  Internet Safety
   
   a. Mike will research and get back to the committee at the
   next meeting.
6.  Kidspiration/Inspiration Software
   
   a. Purchase a media disk and 8-10 licenses for Kidspiration
   for the 2007-07 school year.
   (1) Use in grades 2-4
   b. Check into acquiring Inspiration for grades 5-6 for the
    2007-08 school year.
7.  Design a teacher proficiency survey
   
   a. To help guide professional development decision-making.
   b. Use Laurel School's checklist for immediate self-
   assessment.
   (1) Teachers mark the items they know.
   (2) Teachers write about the areas they would like to have more
   information/training.
