Trustee Christina Olstad
My name is Christina Olstad. I was elected as a Trustee to Pioneer School in May 2010. I am very excited to be part of this community! I have a strong belief in the smaller schools for the individualized education. I have 15 years of experience in the education field as a special education teacher and an administrator of special education schools. I have worked in special education with students who exhibit severe behavior challenges who have autism, emotional disturbance, and are cognitively impaired, etc. I have been an active PTA member that past two years and have volunteered for numerous events at Pioneer School. I have a strong belief that it is critical to volunteer our talents and give back to our community.

I am a Montana native and was raised in North Central Montana. I graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. I then attended Saint Mary's College in Moraga, California where I obtained my Master's Degree in Educational Administration.

I am married and have 3 children. Two of my children attend Pioneer School and my youngest child is in preschool. My husband is employed at St. Vincent Healthcare as a Certified Rehab Technology Supplier. He fits children and adults for custom wheelchairs. I am honored to serve as a Trustee for Pioneer School.
