Presidential Fitness Tests!
All students will be participating in the Presidential Fitness Tests on Friday, May 11th. Also, all students will be running the mile (1/2 mile or ΒΌ mile) during the week of May 7 - 11. Please be sure your child comes to school in tennis shoes everyday this week. Weather may force changes in the schedule of when they will run, so we would appreciate them being prepared everyday! This may go into the next week depending on the weather. Thank you! Two Track Boys

Jump Rope for Heart
Three Girls Jump Roping

Despite the blustery weather; Jump Rope for Heart was a HUGE success! We are truly blessed with amazing parents! A heartfelt thank you goes out to our volunteers: Brenda Zink, Mike Leischner, Joanne Palmieri, Marie Clark, Joelle Maddox,
and Deb Kiekover. As usual, Pioneer's ENTIRE staff dove
in and helped, as well!

Our students donated $1183.25 for Jump Rope for Heart! NICE!!
Our top collectors were Lliana with $170 and Tristan with $165.

May 8th Election
Pioneer School will be running 2 mill levies on May 8, 2012. This will be held as a mail in ballot. The first mill levy will be a technology levy. Pioneer School is asking for a levy of 2.07 mills or $3000 per year. On a 100,000 home this would equal $3.05. If passed, this levy would be permanent. We are asking for this levy to help keep our technology updated and in good working order. Technology is ever changing and always in need of updates.

The second mill levy that we are asking voters to consider is a building reserve levy. This levy will be 6.92 mills or $10,000 per year for three years. On a 100,000 home this would equal $10.18. We are asking for this mill levy to do some much needed maintenance projects such as painting the old building and doing some much
needed updates on the heating systems. We are asking for
your support for these 2 mill levies.
