Learning about Money
One of the skills that students practice in school is learning to count money.
In order to help the kindergarten students put this skill to use, the 5/6 students
set up a store where the kids could buy goodies and then count out the money
they needed to pay for their purchases. When the kindergarten students left, they
had 12 fun items and practical experience using money.
