Annual May Box Social

Kindergarten & 5/6 Reading Buddies
For about three months in the spring, the kindergarten students read books to the fifth and sixth graders. After reading their books, the fifth and sixth graders help the kindergarten students take an Accelerated Reader Test! Here are some pictures we thought you would enjoy: Reading Buddies |
April 9, 2010 - Jump Rope for Heart
This is an annual event that the students always enjoy. They collected $812 for their efforts. They rotated through six stations and jumped for one hour.
The six stations were: single jump roping, long jump roping, jumping the river, egg beater, double dutch & jump roping with a cup of water.

March 22, 2010 Nutrition Lesson
The Pioneer school nurse, Vicki Olson-Johnson, did a nutrition class with the 5th/6th graders. They tried several new foods, and they got quite a buffet.
