On Saturday, October 13, 2007, two young ladies from Pioneer School attended the Punt, Pass & Kick contest in Lewistown, MT. They both took 2nd place at the sectional. See a photo here. |
Student Activities |
•Jumprope for Heart was held on April 4, 2008. There were several different stations set up - double dutch, jump the creek, regular jump roping, etc. There was a relay race at the beginning where the teams had to jump rope down to the end of the court and get a letter. When they had all of the letters, they had to figure out what it spelled. Of course it spelled jump rope 4 heart (a heart not the whole word). We raised $1080! We have great photos to share here.
•The annual Pioneer School Science Fair was held in March. We had some outstanding projects and winners. See some of our students and their projects here.
•Every year the Pioneer School sixth graders have a great time helping the kindergarten students with the annual Easter egg hunt. Check out some great pictures at this link: 2008 Easter Egg Hunt
•At Christmas time, the fifth and sixth graders helped kindergarteners make snowman necklaces. See photos here.
