Every other Wednesday, hot lunch is available at the school. The dates are available on the school events calendar. Below is more information about those who provide the lunch.
Pioneer School has no regular hot lunch program. But, the school has had dedicated community members from the Pioneer PTA who have provided hot lunch every other Wednesday for the students for several years. Four years ago, Joann Palmieri took over preparation of the main meal. She has help from other PTA members who make desserts and collect money. On September 26, 2011, the Billings Gazette featured a story and video about the lunch program and Joann.
