Welcome to our 2011-2012 Photo Gallery. page. We are looking forward to some fun learning experiences this year. We invite you to check out our pictures at the links below as the year progresses.
Below you will find some of our photos from the 2010-11 school year.
- Mrs. Hohn's kindergarten class had a very special mystery reader in March. Mr. Mike Olstad, a parent of one of the kindergarten students, shared two books with the children: Best Friend on Wheels and Arnie and the New Kid. Both of the books dealt with children accepting other children in wheelchairs.
After he read the books, Mr. Olstad showed several items to the students that children and adults with disabilities may use in their daily lives. They included forearm crutches, a walker, and a couple of different types of wheelchairs. The students were allowed to try the items and encouraged to imagine what it would be like if they needed to use the items themselves.
The kindergarten students enjoyed the books and were quite intrigued with the presentation. It was a valuable and meaningful lesson for all. We have a slide show with photos from the presentation at the following link. We hope you enjoy it!

- We would like to thank the grade 5/6 students for helping us practice with money. We have pictures and information here: Learning about Money
- The kindergarten students and grade 5/6 kids got together for an activity to celebrate President's Day. Learn about it here:

- Our first gallery has some great pictures of a project we did with the fifth and sixth graders before Halloween. They helped us make candy necklaces. This is fun for the little ones and a great "teaching" experience for the older ones. See our pictures here: Halloween Candy Necklace Project
