Hi! My name Mrs. Hohn and I am the Kindergarten teacher at Pioneer School! This is my third year teaching kindergarten at the school. I absolutely love Pioneer School and am so glad to be back! Some of you will remember I worked here for 4 years before moving to Minnesota. Pioneer has many special memories for me, both because of my wonderful experiences here but also because my Grandmother attended school here at Pioneer School when it was known as Pioneer Progressive School!

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Rocky Mountain College in 1997 and have loved working with a variety of age groups in the elementary school setting. I have 14 years of experience working with children in education and I absolutely love my job!

My most recent experience was 5 years in Minnesota with Pre-K students which enable me to bring not only my classroom experiences but also a great deal of enthusiasm and motivation to share with your children.

I am very happy to be back in Montana where my family and extended family members reside. My parents were very instrumental in my choice of teaching as a career. My father taught for 35 years in Montana before retiring, but could not remain away from the classroom experience and maintained his status as a Driver’s Education instructor until this past year. Driver’s Ed for over 40 years must be a world record for patience!

I’ve missed my family’s horses and am excited to have the freedom to ride again! Although I loved the lakes in Minnesota, I am very grateful to be back in the mountains of Montana where I can camp, hike, and fish again! I also enjoy reading and spending time with my friends and family in my spare time!

I feel very fortunate to spend my days guiding your children through their educational growth and kindergarten experiences!
